To be successful as aMedia Marketing Apprenticeyou will help and support the media team at Rotherham United Football Club to communicate the key messages of the club on a range of channels including Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. You will also be interested in football and eager to keep abreast of industry innovations and new software.

Media Marketing Apprentice Responsibilities:
Writing, editing and proofing the match day programme
Producing content for the official club website
Producing content for the club social media channels
Filming and editing video content for the club social media feeds and iFollow service
Producing and editing graphics in-keeping with the club brand guidelines
You will be suited to the role if:
You have a thirst for knowledge and spend time researching tasks related to the role to become the best you can be at what you do
You are creative with words, can understand what we stand for as a football club and are able to convey that in your work
Take an active interest in what makes good forms of all content, from video output to written articles
Are well-versed in using social media channels such as Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter
You take pride in being able to produce and publish content which our supporters can not only enjoy, but also relate to
You can see opportunities in areas we are not currently proficient in to help us improve our overall output
You understand the importance of the message and club ideologies being embedded in successful content to bring to life the Rotherham United ‘culture’
You already have an understanding of the basics of websites such as meta data and how it used on google, basic HTML and some basic understanding of how a website works
You have good personal time keeping skills, take care with work and pay attention to detail
You will have a positive can do attitude, friendly and approachable with a willingness to learn
Grades as required by the learning apprenticeship provider to complete a level 3 apprenticeship (GCSE C Grade or equivalent as a guide including English Language and Maths GCSE).
