Job Title: Matchday Grounds Person
Employer: Brighton & Hove Albion FC
Hourly Rate: £10.90 per hour
Hours: Zero-hours. To work all home matchdays.              
Location: American Express Community Stadium, Brighton
Job Type: Worker agreement

What does the role of a matchday grounds person involve?
You will carry out grounds maintenance work to ensure the pitch and other associated areas are in an excellent condition for matches. This will involve operating our sports pitch and grounds machinery and equipment.
 
Your background
It is essential that you have an understanding of COSHH. Our ideal candidate will have experience of working in a large team of staff in a similar environment.
 
The successful candidate will ideally hold the following qualifications:
·         PA1, PA6 and PA2A certificates in pesticide usage
·         Obtained or working towards qualifications in sports turf management to a minimum level 2 standard
·         Certificated in driving agricultural motor vehicles
