The Football Association are recruiting a Marketing Executive to join our Leagues & Competitions Marketing team.
This role is an amazing opportunity for an ambitious marketer to work across men's and women's domestic competitions and grassroots football. Sitting within the FA Leagues & Competitions team, the role includes working on the Barclays Women's Super League, FA Championship and Vitality Women's FA Cup, Emirates FA Cup, FA Vase & Trophy and FA Community Shield.
The role would be perfect for someone who is wishing to develop core marketing skills within a fast-paced, professional sporting environment, working with a range of stakeholders and on world-class sporting events.
The ideal candidate will be passionate about sports, have a positive attitude, good administrative skills, and an appetite to build their industry experience.
An interest in both men's and women's football is desirable but not essential.
Working closely with the Marketing Exec and Manager(s) to support the delivery of season-long domestic campaign(s) and executions across owned, operated and third-party channels.
Support the delivery of all physical and digital stadium branding requirements for The Emirates FA Cup Semi-Finals and Final, FA Community Shield, Non-League Finals Day and Vitality Women's FA Cup Final events at Wembley.
Working closely with wider Competitions Marketing team to manage external stakeholders such as broadcasters, commercial partners, third-party publishers and participating clubs to ensure alignment on objectives, campaign execution and integration in major events.
Working closely with the CRM team to execute season-long email marketing plans.
Support the management of a range of agency and/or supplier relationships.
Delivering a range of administrative tasks, including raising POs and managing budget trackers, compiling presentations and supporting with team events.
Provide regular updates of industry trends and analysis' of competitor activity to internal stakeholders.
Executes additional tasks as required in order to meet FA Group changing priorities.
Comply with all company policies and procedures to ensure the highest standards of health, safety and wellbeing can be maintained.
What we are looking for
At least six months of relevant experience in a brand marketing or agency role.
The successful candidate would ideally hold a business, marketing, or media degree and have achieved or working towards a marketing professional qualification (Chartered Institute of Marketing CIM)
A strong passion for and interest in sports marketing.
Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
Basic presentation skills.
An excellent communicator (verbal and written).
Experience of working on mass-scale events.
Basic project management skills.
Good presentation and reporting skills.
A good understanding of the sports industry.
An understanding of and interest in football is helpful but not essential.
A good eye for detail and creatively minded.

Please be aware that unless you are on ahomebased contract, your contract with The FA will specify a fixed location of either Wembley Stadium, St. George's Park or our Processing Centre.
We currently work within a hybrid working model whereby the expectation is to work from your contractual location for part of the week, and as and when required by the team. The remaining days can be worked remotely. We will continue to monitor this model and it may be adjusted in future if deemed necessary.
