Football Australia (FA) is the national governing body for football in Australia, situated on the lands of the Gadigal people of the Eora Nation. Reporting to the General Manager - Marketing, this Sydney based fixed-term role is responsible for leading in the development and execution of the National Club Development Program brand identity and marketing strategy.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Lead in the development of the National Club Development Program brand identity, working closely with internal and external stakeholders
Develop and activate the National Club Development Program marketing plan and strategy including launch, always-on activity and club journey
Ensure all brand, marketing and promotion activity aligns and contributes to the successful achievement of the National Club Development Program key performance indicators
Lead in the collaboration with the Club Development team, internal stakeholders as well as external partners and agencies
Coordinate the development of resources tool kits and manuals according to program priorities and needs, working closely with operations and creative resources
Manage, develop, identify and execute ongoing marketing and promotional opportunities to raise the profile and awareness of the National Club Development program
Manage pipeline of marketing requests according to program priorities and needs via calendar planning, as set by General Manager Marketing
Be a brand champion – ensure designs, resources and content are consistent to the brand guidelines
Experience and skills required:

A collaborative team player with a positive mindset
Have a strong work ethic and have the ability to manage projects efficiently and on time
Be always meticulously planned in approach to all workload, briefs and projects
High level presentation, written and oral communication skills
Ability to anticipate challenges, be flexible and identify opportunities
Knowledge, understanding and experience in developing and executing brand identities and guidelines and execute through omni-channel marketing.
An extremely high level of attention to detail
Experience and comfortability in liaising with internal and external stakeholders, agencies and partners.
Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role with demonstrated Marketing experience
Experience in the development and execution of new brands or re-brands
Understanding of football and sporting industry is an advantage
Full working rights within Australia
Football Australia is an always-on network, so unique working hours (including outside standard business hours and weekend) may be required
