Nashville is America’s “It City” and a soccer city on the rise. From the CONCACAF Gold Cup to FIFA World Cup qualifying, Nashville is becoming a destination for the nation’s most prominent soccer games. Music City’s local team, Nashville Soccer Club, opened the largest soccer specific stadium in the USA and Canada in May 2022 and is recruiting a coordinator to assist in our marketing department. POSITION OVERVIEW: This position assists the marketing and merchandise team within the department. This role will assist with merchandising needs such as reporting, facilitating orders and gameday promotions. The coordinator will also serve the marketing team by managing the delivery of creative requests as well as administrative needs. This position will report to the Vice President, Marketing.RESPONSIBILITIES:  Assist with strategic marketing plans, recap decks and other reports for the department. Work with internal departments and external partners to facilitate orders of licensed goods. Manage ordering procedures to ensure the timely delivery of licensed goods. Track and manage club-owned merchandise inventory. Assist with marketing signage and print needs for our Team Store. Assist with the development and marketing of product lines, to support key club retail initiatives. Assist with match day marketing and promotions. Traffic creative assets for paid campaigns to media outlets.  Facilitate flow of approvals on creative assets between Marketing and other departments. Ensure timely delivery of all creative assets. Act as project management lead on jobs to ensure team is up to date and prioritize all jobs correctly. Fulfill all deliverable needs across all brands and maintain a library of final files. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of status on all assigned brand projects and be prepared to provide updates, as needed. Coordinate all social media sweepstakes and contests for the Marketing department. Assist with strategic marketing plans, recap decks and other reports for the departmentDESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree in marketing or advertising  Strong organizational skills, and capable of managing multiple projects at a time.  Must possess advanced level Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Comfortable with being a team player and thriving in a collaborative, creative environment. Ability to be prompt, dependable and detail-oriented, and manage multiple tasks with strict deadlines. Ability to be a team player, contribute ideas and thrive in a collaborative, creative environment.  Bachelor's degree required (preferably in marketing, communications, advertising, or related field). Available to work nights, weekends, and holidays. We are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, age, disability, gender identity, marital or veteran status, or any other protected class.
