Role description

Position:The Manager of Youth Camps Clinics is part of the Youth Development Program (YDP) for Minnesota United Football Club (MNUFC), a sports business located in the Twins Cities area of Minnesota and a member of Major League Soccer (MLS), the top tier soccer league in North America. Job Description:The Manager of Youth Camps Clinics is responsible for generating growth and executing MNUFC Camps and Clinics, Pre-MLS Next, club membership and events. This role will develop and implement youth development efforts while supporting the Youth Development Program vision. This role will report directly to the Director of Youth Development. This is a full-time position is based in Blaine, MN. Responsibilities:Generate revenue growth by selling and executing MNUFC Camps and Clinics, Pre-MLS Next, Club Membership and Eventso    Organize, promote, and facilitate camps, clinics, tournaments, and other events
Develop a marketing and business plan for camps, club membership and events
Partner with Community Relations Manager on the execution of community youth clinics
Create necessary curriculums and educational materials for camps and clinics
Fulfillment of partner and sponsorship activations, ensuring all deliverables are achieved in a timely manner
Coordinate administrative tasks including but not limited to:
o    Scheduling facilities for camps, clinics, and eventso    Registrations, check-ins and preparations for on-site clinicso    Maintain proper records for registration, players and waivers
Schedule, assign, and coordinate coaching staff
Maintain and set up equipment needed for coaches
Provide communication to players, parents, and coaches about training, camps and clinic schedules
Build and maintain relationships with local youth soccer clubs and programs
Represent MNUFC at events, games, tournaments, meetings that promote camps, clinics and club memberships.
Involved with the planning and implementation of all programming, including but not limited to: affiliates and partners, sponsors, operations, staffing, budgeting, grassroots development, promotions, fundraising or event management
Other duties as assigned
 Experience:
Bachelor’s degree or combination of education and work experience preferred
At least 3 years of management experience in sports environment
Previous Major League Soccer, US Soccer Development Academy, or youth soccer experience is preferred
 Requirements:
Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, holidays and weekdays
Proficiency using Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.)
Ability to work independently and in a collaborative teamwork environment where strong organization, interpersonal, analytical and planning skills are required
Professionalism in all interactions with coaches, players, parents, and partners
Applicant must be able to comply with MLS Next Pro Safety and Well-Being policies and guidelines
MNUFC requires a COVID-19 vaccination as a condition of employment, subject to exception under applicable law
Valid driver’s license
Ability to successfully pass an individual background check
Bilingual skills preferred
