DETROIT CITY FC FIRST TEAM Manager of Soccer Operations (equipment manager/team administrator)Detroit City FC is Detroit professional soccer club. Founded in 2012, the community club plays in the USL Championship. Detroit City FC is looking for a manager of soccer operations (equipment manager/team administrator).POSITION OVERVIEW
The manager of soccer operations assists with all aspects of player operations and oversees the day-to-day equipment operations, logistics and team communications for the Detroit City FC USL Championship team. The ideal candidate is an enthusiastic, conscientious, solutions-oriented, and cooperative professional committed to providing the optimal player experience. This role is an integral part in fostering a positive team culture and ensuring that players and staff members have a high performance environment of respect and affirmation.
This role reports to the VP, Sporting and Wellness.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES RESPONSIBILITIES
Collaborate with the executive Sporting staff and technical staff to oversee team communications.
Support the coordination of all team travel and accompany teams to away games.
Assist as onsite game day administrator and operations contact for coaches, players, league officials and match officials.
Order, organize, and keep inventory of all team equipment and apparel.
Responsible for heat pressing patches, numbers, letters, sponsor logos, and team badges on all team gear as required by team and league guidelines.
Maintain equipment room, laundry facility, locker rooms, and storage of goods.
Manage, organize, and transport equipment needs of first team players, coaches, technical, and medical staff.
Collaborate with and assist the Direct of Merchandising on all apparel needs.
Assist coaching staff with field set up for training and pre-game warm up as needed.
Facilitate pre-season and end of season processes, including coordinating and communicating player arrivals and ensuring access to all resources, practical and team needs, housing, and credentials.
Oversee and assist with the coordination of player housing.
Launder and/or oversee the laundry staff to launder and maintain all training and match day gear.
Other duties as assigned by Sporting staff.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Degree from an accredited four-year college or university preferred.
Minimum of two years’ experience in a similar role required, experience at a professional Club, preferred.
Must have a high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations and information.
Strong work ethic, team-oriented attitude, and enthusiasm about contributing to the success of the Club.
Exceptional organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask and execute in a timely manner.
Must be flexible with the ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced work environment with challenging demands and frequent changes and flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, if necessary.
Exceptional communication skills (both verbal and written).
Maintain a professional appearance and attitude at all times.
Bilingual (Spanish) speaker a plus, but not required.
Must be legally authorized or able to obtain authorization to work in the US.

SALARY RANGE
At DCFC we carefully consider a wide range of factors to determine a fair and equitable compensation package. The final offer amount will consider a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to skill sets, relevant experience, and training. The overall range for this role is $32,000 - $38,000 per year plus performance bonus incentives.
