WHO WE ARE: Soccer Holdings, LLC., is the parent company of professional soccer clubs Louisville City FC (USL Championship) and Racing Louisville FC (NWSL). Both teams call Lynn Family Stadium in the Butchertown neighborhood home and operate out of the nearby Lynn Family Sports Vision & Training Center. Louisville City launched in 2015 and quickly established a winning tradition, claiming USL titles in 2017 and 2018. Racing Louisville FC joined the NWSL as an expansion member in 2021, bringing top-tier professional sports back to Kentucky for the first time in nearly 50 years. POSITION OVERVIEW: The Manager, Partnership Development will be responsible for driving partnership revenue across all Soccer Holdings entities with a primary focus on new opportunities for Racing Louisville FC and Louisville City FC. This position requires a strong ability to identify, develop, and retain local, regional, and national corporate partners for the organization. Experience working with sports and/or entertainment industry preferred. This is an on-site position located in Louisville, KY with a competitive base salary plus commission. Candidates must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and occasional holidays as needed for matches and events. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Generate corporate partnership revenue by retaining and developing existing relationships over the phone, in person, and during games and events.Identify new and existing corporate assets to generate business revenue. Market partnership assets in-stadium, across television and radio game broadcasts, in the community, and across social media and digital properties, including website, app, and e-newsletter. Create & deliver compelling sales presentations to decision-makers incorporating a clear understanding of the prospective partners' marketing and business objectives.Act as a community and corporate ambassador for the Club; attend networking and professional events to continue building a prospective client list of qualified accounts. Create touch-point campaigns each season to ensure mutually beneficial partnership exists. Work closely with partnership fulfillment and activation staff to ensure clients receive a superior level of customer service and fulfillment of their contracts. Present business updates, new opportunities, and industry-driven initiatives to the management team, sales leaders, and owners. Build, develop, and track revenue pipeline and goals with SalesForce. Fulfill partnership administrative responsibilities such as tracking sales & sponsorship inventory throughout the season. Collaborate and communicate effectively across all internal areas of the organization (operations, marketing, communications, ticketing, etc.)Support game day operations and/or sponsorship activation, as needed. Occasional lifting/moving of items up to 50 lbs. Other duties and projects as assigned.QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree with an emphasis in Business, Communications, Marketing, or Management.3+ years of partnership or enterprise sales and business development experience; sports industry preferred. Proficient understanding of marketing/advertising assets in-stadium, television, radio, and across social media and other digital platforms. Ability to communicate professionally both verbally and written with partners and other individuals within the organization. Self-motivated with a proven ability to achieve aggressive sales goals. Proven understanding of the practices and principles related to the sales process and execution of corporate partnerships. Excellent time management and organizational skills. Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel.
