Role description

The MLS Digital Club Services (DCS) team is looking for a motivated and high performing individual to join the team. The Digital Club Services provides expertise and training in league digital tools, social media platforms, and digital marketing to help clubs achieve business results.


The Manager will be responsible for helping clubs run their CMS, maximize their digital engagement on social media and the league’s video platform, and manage how clubs participate in league-wide initiatives.


Responsibilities

Work daily with an assigned set of MLS clubs to support their overall digital content and digital marketing efforts
Build and maintain strong relationships across multiple levels within your assigned clubs
Train and advise clubs on the league’s commercial guidelines
Train your assigned clubs on the use the league’s CMS (FORGE by Deltatre)
Troubleshoot your club’s issues with the league CMS
Support your club with social media platforms and their initiatives
Manage your club’s SEO and SEM
Manage club digital advertising campaigns
Manage how your assigned clubs participate in league-wide initiatives

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s Degree
Demonstrated experience with managing a project and project stakeholders
Experience with Google Analytics and providing actionable insights
Knowledge of social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, YouTube, TikTok, etc.), trends and analytics platforms.
Proficiency in HTML and CSS
Familiarity with Content Management Systems
Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Ability to travel and to work non-traditional hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as necessary (especially when matches are played)
Demonstrated project management skills
Demonstrated decision making and focus on solutions
High level of commitment to organizational ethics, integrity, and compliance
Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, team environment
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate, both written and verbally
Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
Knowledge of SEO and SEM

Preferred Skills

Passion for soccer and knowledge of Major League Soccer, its clubs, and players
Connected with the soccer community
Knowledge of the Spanish Language (business proficiency) a plus
