Role description
Overview
At Major League Soccer we provide the best digital fan experience with personalized content, recommendation, and offerings through state-of-the-art technology. This position will contribute to this mission by leveraging state of the art A.I.
In this role you will be responsible for building scalable core machine learning solutions that will feed our recommendations and fan 360 and marketing stack, such as identity resolution.
Responsibilities
Design and develop state of the art machine learning models in areas of personalization, recommendation and identity resolution.
Implement MLOps best practices and model performance evaluation and feedback.
Work with data engineering and platform team to create production grade pipelines for ML training and inference.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field required.
2+ years related experience with track record of shipping machine learning solutions in production environments.
Solid CS fundamentals as well as statistical methods such as hypothesis testing.
Hands on experience with deep learning machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow and/or PyTorch.
Experience with computer vision or NLP is a plus.
Hands-on experience building and delivering machine learning solutions in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or GCP.
Working experience of distributed processing systems including Apache Spark.

Total Rewards
Starting Base Salary: $80,000 – $120,000. MLS/SUM base salaries are contingent upon several factors including individual qualifications, market financials, and operational business needs.
