ROLE DESCRIPTION

The positions purpose is to lead and facilitate the identification and recruitment of talented players across U11 to U14 age groups in and around the local region, including London, Surrey, Berkshire, Hampshire, in alignment with the broader Academy strategy and objectives. Further, to support with the growth of the overall local recruitment strategy with other members of the TID & Recruitment department.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Lead on the identification process of players in local regions including London (A3 corridor), Surrey, Berkshire and Hampshire (using a variety of means to identify players between the U11-U14 age groups).
Facilitate the association and partnership between FFC and key stakeholders in the above regions (including grassroots clubs and other Football based programmes in the area).
Support the coordination of casual scouts that work across the aforementioned age groups.
Alongside other Talent ID and Recruitment staff, support the succession planning process for players between U11-U14 ages.
Alongside other Talent ID and Recruitment staff, support players transitioning away from the club to find a suitable next opportunity.
Work alongside the broader Academy MDT in relation to both Recruitment and Player Development (attend U11-U14 MDT meetings).
Lead the process of identifying, inducting and assessing grassroots trialists between U11-U14.
Lead the process of identifying potential acquisitions between U11-U14 when required.
Lead the the administrative and assessment processes associated with our TID events, TID Programmes and Internal Fixtures.
Contribute to wider Academy initiatives, including review days & CPD events as requested.
SAFEGUARDING

• Will have read and understood the suite of safeguarding policies including safeguarding children policy, adults at risk

• Understand and promote staff and players code of conduct;
• Will understand how to refer a concern;
• To be consistent role models;
• To complete the Fulham safer Working Practice Workshop as part of induction and the FA Safeguarding Children
workshop; and
• To monitor repeated incidents of poor behaviour and liaise with their DSO or Head of Safeguarding.

The ideal candidate must have an FA Talent ID Level 3 qualification and a UEFA B Coaching Licence. Candidates should have previous experience working in Talent ID and Recruitment within a Category 1 Academy and have worked as part of a broader team within the field.
