About the job
We are looking for an individual with a proven track in PDP phase at a Category 1 or 2 Academy) or within a First team environment to join our Liverpool FC men’s team as a Loans Performance Analyst. In this role, you will be the key connection between the players on loan and the staff at our AXA Training Ground and the Academy using video analytics data.

What will you be doing?

Utilise video, data, and live viewings to monitor and assess the progress of our loan players.
Arrange and generate content for regular loan player reviews.
Identify and highlight development trends and discuss with players and key stakeholders.
Produce regular showcase videos about our loan players to share with key staff.
Build a video library and ensure all clips of loan players are banked and available on demand.
Liaise with LFC research to incorporate the use of data in producing player updates and for insight when considering loan options.
Gather information and oversee the production of regular loan reports for LFC staff.
Keep meeting notes from all relevant meetings, including player reviews.
Assist the Data Systems Analyst in first line response to daily support tickets issued by scouting platform users.

Who are we looking for?

To be successful in this role, you will have an UEFA Coaching Licence together with experience in the PDP phase at a Category 1 or 2 Academy (or equivalent) or within First team environment. You will have detailed football knowledge within an elite setting and tactical understanding with strong performance analysis skills. With effective communication skills, your experience will include presenting information to key stakeholders in a variety of settings and the ability to build good working relationships at all levels. Your credentials will showcase your ability to prioritise workload in a demanding environment whilst striving to produce work of the highest standard.

With your high level of computer competency, you will be proficient in the use of various analysis software & programmes including Final Cut Pro / iMovie, Coach Paint / Hudl Studio and ideally Wyscout.

It is essential that you have a flexible and dedicated approach to work, enabling certain tasks/demands to be conducted during unsociable hours. Being self-motivated, you are comfortable working independently or within a team. You can work reliably under pressure meeting tight deadlines and adhere to strict processes whilst maintaining high standards and confidentiality.

This is a full-time permanent role working 35 hours per week on a flexible 5 from 7 days basis including evenings and weekends. Your main base will be our AXA Training Ground in Kirkby.
