About the opportunity: We are extremely excited to be searching for a Loan Pathways Manager to come and join us within our Academy, as we embark on a significant chapter within the history of Everton Football Club. 


As Loan Pathways Manager you will become an integral part of the team, working closely with our Academy Director and Head of Academy Coaching in supporting the identification of loan opportunities through an in-depth analysis of football league clubs and utilising their own, extensive, network of individuals across the football landscape; while taking into consideration the best interests of the young players’ development whilst out on loan and the relevant playing philosophies of the host Clubs. 


You will provide a comprehensive package of support to assist players and navigate the challenges of the experience of being on loan, as well as collating and reporting on progress information from key points of contact within host Clubs. 


This is a unique and new role within the Club, where you will have the opportunity to assist players in their first steps within senior professional football. 


 Who we’re looking for: As a UEFA A-Licence qualified individual, you will not only have detailed knowledge and experience of player development, but also the ability to understand information from a number of multidisciplinary sources and is able to evaluate progress across all relevant disciplines, including Sports Science, Player Care, Technical and Tactical progress. 


Excellent communication skills are essential as you will build relationships with appropriate Clubs and staff to ensure a wealth of potential suitable opportunities are maximised for our players whilst out on loan. 


If you feel you are the player development expert we are looking for, who would be able to drive and evolve the ‘on loan’ experience for our players, then we would love to hear from you! 


The role is permanent and will be based at Finch Farm training ground in Liverpool (Halewood); working 40 hours per week, the closing date of this advert is Friday 1st July 2022.
