About Swedish Elite Football
Swedish Elite Soccer, SEF, is an interest organization for all associations in Allsvenskan and Superettan. SEF’s mission is to be a leader in the development of Swedish elite football at club level, sportingly, financially, commercially and administratively. The business includes, among other things, being responsible for the development of the league, planning for our 480 matches, audience and supporter issues, technical development, marketing, sales of central agreements and providing service to our member clubs.
In recent years, SEF has worked with a clear strategy and investment with the aim of achieving positive development for the clubs in the Allsvenskan and Superettan as well as for the league as a whole. Happily, this venture has been successful and great progress has been made. Among other things, audience numbers, supporter interest and the financial conditions have developed strongly.
In the office next to the Friends Arena in Solna, there is a sports function that includes, among other things, the responsibility for the leagues, security and event issues. For this function we are now looking for a league coordinator!
About the role
The work is about supporting SEF’s league manager in coordinating the work with the league in matters related to series planning, order of play and other competition issues, sports data, handling and prioritizing cases in the disciplinary and appeals committee, as well as working to update and develop the Elite Football Manual. As a league coordinator, you have a lot of contacts both internally and externally, for example with clubs and other stakeholders, and it is important that you enjoy that role.
In addition to the above, there are projects and other issues of an administrative nature as well as daily office duties. All in all, you as a person are required to be unprestigious and flexible in your way of undertaking work tasks.
To succeed in this role, we see that:
You have a few years of work experience from similar work
You are good at handling your work independently, within given frameworks
You have experience of working in football and have an understanding of competition issues including regulations
You have the ability to quickly familiarize yourself with new activities and routines
You have good computer skills and experience working with the programs within the Office package.
You are fluent in Swedish and preferably English in speech and writing
When it comes to personal qualities, you are structured and self-motivated and you have good administrative skills. You are also service-oriented and understand the importance of collaboration to deliver on our joint mission.
The form of employment is permanent and refers to full-time with unregulated working hours. The work starts from SEF’s headquarters in Solna. The employment begins as a trial employment for six months. The number of vacation days, insurance and pension follow the applicable “Sports industry agreement” and applicable laws.
