ROLE DESCRIPTION
Rush Canada Soccer Academy is a recognized National Youth Club and OPDL License holder. We offer year-round senior, youth and grass roots development programs for male and female players located in the GTA. Our teams participate in a number of regional and provincial leagues including Peel Halton, OPDL and League One Reserve. Our coaches have a wide range of playing and coaching experience and qualifications obtained through UEFA, Asia, USA and Canada Soccer. We are part of Rush Soccer based in the US, which provides a player development path that includes competitive streams in Canada, United States and Europe.
Job Description POSITION TITLE: League 1 Reserve Head Coach, Woman Open POSITION STATUS: Part-time, Contract REPORTS TO: Technical Director APPLICATION DEADLINE: Until position is filled START DATE: Immediate
Key Responsibilities Attend all training sessions and in conjunction with head coach, plan, deliver and analyze training sessions Attend all games and provide support to head coach and players as requiredo Includes league, showcase and/or tournament games Assist in tryouts and player selection for the team Support and implement game model outlined by Rush Canada Participate in all internal coach development sessions Participate in all parent and academy meetings in person or web based Understand and support our Academy services to maximize membership satisfaction Adhere to rules and code of conduct outlined by Rush Canada and League One Ontario Ensure game day requirements are met including correctly filled out game sheets & substitution cards
Experience & Qualifications Canada Soccer National B (required) Making Ethical Decisions, Making Headway in soccer, Respect in Sport Activity Leader (required) Up to date Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector included Willing to complete online programs – Safe Sport, Emergency Action Plan and Mental Health in Sport 5+ years coaching experience and equivalent playing experience at the same level or higher Applicants must be permitted to work in Ontario
Skills and Competencies Strong constructive communication (written and verbal) skills Punctual, professional, approachable, detailed, responsive and organized Awareness of high-performing athletes and what it takes to compete at pro/college/university level is an asset 2nd language an asset
