Role description

"Main Objectives\n\nManage the pathway (Training, Fixtures, Reviews, Development Plans, Transition and Feedback) for all\r\nplayers across the Academy age groups of U14-U16.\nEnsure the Coaching syllabus and Coaching Methodology is implemented daily to prepare players for scholarship\nTo deliver and support delivery of Academy coaching sessions to a high standard.\nTo assist with the practical delivery of the scholarship programme\nTo implement and lead Individual Learning Plans for all players across age groups U14-U18\nTo accurately report and keep records relating to all aspects of the phase (U14-U16)\nTo support the progression of players into and through the pathway with relevant members of  staff. (working closely with other Lead Phase Coaches)\n\nSummary of Duties\n\nPlan, deliver & review coaching of Academy players\nEvaluation of player progress using internal auditing system and player depth charting (including trialists)\nWork closely with the Head of Coaching and regularly feedback from training and matches on individual progress / performance\nTo line manage and provide clear direction for part time coaches working with players in the U14-U16 age groups. Including implementation of the appraisals (PDR’s) of all relevant staff\nTo attend and contribute to club CPD events\nTo ensure that all relevant PMA administration is kept up to date for the Youth Development Phase\nTo monitor the use of HUDL ensuring best practice sessions/clips are available for YDP coaches\nComplete other tasks for the benefit of theorganisation when required\nAccurate and Prompt communication of schedules\n\nPerson Specification\n\nEssential\n\nIT literate with a willingness to learn how to use all internal systems including the PMA effectively\nHave a personable approach\nExcellent communication and interpersonal service skills\nHave a flexible attitude to work\nAbility to work on own initiative and as part of a team\nHave a polite and courteous manner\nBe organised, have good time management skills\nThe ability to meet deadlines\nBe able to adapt to changing circumstances\nHave the drive and enthusiasm to set high standards and achieve company objectives\nBe prepared to work evenings and weekends.\nCompliant to company policies/procedures and regulations relating to your role in the Academy\nMotivated to develop professionally and keeps accurate records that support the CCF and Coaching DAP’s\n\nDesirable Experience:\n\nPrevious Experience working in Academy Coaching across various phases\nPrevious experience line managing and delegating tasks effectively\n\nEssential Qualifications:\n\nUEFA ‘A’ Licence Coaching Certificate\nFA Learning Safeguarding Children Certificate\nFA BFAS or EFAiF (Fist Aid Certificate)\nFA Youth Award (Modules 1,2 and 3)\nFA Advanced Youth Award\nFull Driving Licence\n\nDesirable Qualifications:\n\nD1 Category (Minibus) Driving Licence\nUEFA ‘Pro’ Licence\n\r\nThis role will require the successful candidate to have an Enhanced DBS check"
