Role description

This is an exciting time at Newcastle United as we look for talented individuals to help us on our journey. To help us deliver on our ambitious plans we have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Lead Video Analyst to join our recruitment team.
 Working closely with our Head of Technical Scouting, you will analyse prospective target players through a variety of games at varying levels around the globe.  You will also lead and manage a team of positional analysts, keeping the team aligned with the recruitment departments KPIs and specific player targets. 
You will have worked in an elite sporting environment, with experience of being an analyst, with an undergraduate degree in a sport-related discipline. You have good knowledge of football/sport with regards to game models, playing styles and profiles of technical, tactical, physical and psychological traits. Experience with various video software platforms is essential with the ability to present this data with speed, agility and quality in a video presentation for management.  You will have a good understanding and experience of player potential as well as performance of a football player, including young emerging talent/players. It would be great if you have a FA Level 3 Talent ID, but this isn’t a deal breaker.
The nature of this role also means there may be unsocial hours of working
