If so, look no further.Ipswich Town Football Club is looking for a Lead U18 Coach to oversee the day to day running of the coaching programme for under 18 playersin the Academy. The U18 Lead Coach is a key position in the overall club strategy to consistently produce young footballers capable of playing at the highest levels of the game. The role will sit within the senior football team in the Academy to implement the Ipswich Town playing philosophy and coaching programme, ensuring the club core principles and values are always adhered to. The core aims of the role are to support the development of individual players through the pathway.
Who are you? You are a development minded coach with previous experience of working with players in a professional environment. You will be comfortable ‘on the grass’ and have the proven ability to connect with and motivate young players. You will be an effective communicator, leading a multi-disciplinary team of staff with the aim of creating a collaborative approach to developing players. You will be UEFA A licenced and have FA Advanced Youth Award which are essential requirements, as are up to date FA First Aid and Safeguarding qualifications. The role is also subject to an Enhanced DBS. You will be comfortable in a busy, fast paced environment. You will have a strong willingness to learn a range of new skills and build on existing abilities. You will be organised, able to meet deadlines and keep calm under pressure.
