JOB TITLE: Lead Goalkeeper Coach
DEPARTMENT: Coaching
REPORTS TO: First Team Manager/Academy Manager
LOCATION: Chippenham - Travel for away fixtures required
HOURS: Monday morning/Tuesday afternoon & Evening/Thursday afternoon & Evening and all National League South fixtures (Exact hours to be agreed at Interview Stage)
SALARY: £8,000 per annum
Job description
To design, develop, lead and evaluate GK sessions for the first team, B team and U19s while meeting their physical needs through successful collaboration with the Lead Strength and Conditioning coach.

Key responsibilities
Lead in the Delivery of technical and tactical sessions GK sessions
Working with clubs analysts to provide video feedback on U19, B team and First team games
Working with the lead first team coach on set piece preparation
Support match day preparation, organisation and warm up in line with the fixture list (as required)
Managing the GK pathway between First Team, B team and Under U19s
General responsibilities
Compliance with the Club’s health and safety procedures
Compliance with the Club’s safeguarding policies
• To promote the Club’s values
• To undertake such other duties as may be reasonably expected
• To maintain professional conduct at all times

Key relationships
• To report to and work closely with the Lead Coaches and First Team Manager.
• To work closely alongside Academy staff in support of GK development, as a member of Coaching Team.
• To ensure positive relationships with players.

Scope of job
• This position will involve one morning and two evenings per week alongside the clubs first team games programme - this will include some public holidays.

Knowledge/Qualifications
Desirable
Minimum UEFA B Qualified Coach
Excellent knowledge and an ability to apply this specifically when communicating with coaches and players.
• Ability to modify coaching style when delivering practical sessions to different levels of player.
Demonstrate an advanced understanding of relevant modern coaching techniques
General skills and attributes

• Be proactive networking with other coaches, sharing information and ideas of how to improve practice.
