We have a fantastic opportunity for an individual with in-depth business analysis experience within a complex organisation to join our team as our Lead Business Analyst. In this diverse role, you will be responsible for setting and mandating adherence to best practice BA standards and processes across LFC Products, Projects and Programmes and manage and coordinate BA activity in line with strategic priorities to define and decompose change initiatives into requirements for delivery.This is a unique role with the opportunity to work on a diverse range of products across the LFC family.What will you be doing?-Creating, mandating and continuously improving best practice BA methodology and tool set in line with waterfall and Agile frameworks.-Leading workshops, interviews, focus groups and other techniques to effectively understand business problems and user needs.-Conducting investigative work into business problems or process inefficiencies; identifying improvement opportunities in existing and new services.-Analysing large amounts of complex information; generating insights and working with business and technology stakeholders to support solution ideation-Translating business problems and user needs into a set of detailed requirements for delivery. Communicating to stakeholders at all different levels of the club.-Working across multiple Product, Project or Programme elements simultaneously, prioritising and managing resources as required.-Working closely with Project Managers, Product Owners and other stakeholders to enable the smooth transition of projects through the lifecycle-Overseeing the pipeline, new project requests, facilitating Change Planning meetings and contributing to sections of monthly Business Change Board reporting packs-Conducting pre-project analysis and supporting the creation of project rationale and business cases. This includes analysis from a technical and non-technical standpoint; producing cost/benefit analysis for proposed solutions-Building business analysis capability through coaching and mentoringWho are we looking for?To be successful, you will have substantial experience in business analysis with excellent knowledge of business analysis methodologies techniques and processes and how to apply them to business problems. You will have the ability to identify and implement improvement opportunities whilst understanding the impact and limitations within the organisation together with the ability to respond to changing requirements inline with changing business needs. You are able write requirements and user stories in line with best practice methodologies. As an experienced change agent, you can influence, lead, and motivate key stakeholders involved in the projects.You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders. You will have strong facilitation and planning skills with the ability to work under pressure prioritising work accordingly. You`ll have an excellent eye for detail and be able to see the wider context and purpose of organisational change.Why should you apply?This is a full-time permanent role working 35 hours per week Monday to Friday.
