PLACEMENT TITLE: Lead Video Analyst
DEPARTMENT: Coaching
REPORTS TO: First Team Manager, Lead Coaches and Academy Manager
LOCATION: Stanley Park Sports Ground / Thornbury Surfacing Stadium, home based - travel to home and away games required
HOURS: - 20 hours per week
SALARY: £200 per month Expenses


Chippenham Town Academy. A young, progressive and innovative Academy. An Academy that is starting to be recognised for its consistent achievements with player development in the South West. 2024/25 will be our tenth and most important season to date - and our Academy is only as good as the staff who work within it.


The Academy is now looking to recruit a x2 Lead Video Analyst to work on short and long term projects across our U19, B team squad and first team who play in the National League South .



This exciting role is an important part to the clubs vision of creating a core of Academy
based players within the first team and would provide a fantastic platform to showcase the successful candidates knowledge, delivery and
potential.

Job description


To record, clip and code content as required by Coaches. Analyse individual player performance through the clubs unique in game player
scoring system.

Key responsibilities


• Setting up Hudl Focus Flex cameras for all Academy and first team fixtures
• Coding all academy and first team matches.
• Produce post match analysis to players/staff in a user friendly format
• Analyse player performance through the Academies unique player scoring system
• Update the Academies database after each fixture
• Prepare pre match analysis for first team fixtures
• Live coding of all first team fixtures
• Producing clips and highlight packages for dual registered/loan players
• Supporting the recruitment department with clips/highlights of prospective players from wyscout
General responsibilities

• To undertake such other duties as may be reasonably expected

Key relationships


• To report too and work closely with the lead coaching staff.
• To work closely alongside all other Academy and first team staff in support of each players.development, as a member of Coaching Team.
• To ensure positive relationships with players.

Scope of job


• This position will involve approximately 16 - 20 hours per week and may include duties outside normal office hours including evenings, weekends and on public holidays.

Essential
• Currently enrolled or recently completed a Higher Education Sports related course.
• A vibrant and demanding personality that brings a positive impact to our elite environment.
• Ability to work using own initiative.
• Be proactive networking with other coaches, sharing information and ideas of how to improve practice.
• Calm under pressure and able to adapt to changing situations.
• Ability to communicate complex data in terms that are easily understood by a wide range of audiences.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills that can motivate behavioural change to have a positive impact on performance.
• The ability to establish professional relationships across the various disciplines within the medical and exercise science department at the
football club.
• An understanding of individual responsibility in complying with Health and Safety policies.
• Personal commitment to continued professional development
• Operate within the rules of professional confidentiality to liaise with athletes, medical staff, sports sciences staff, coaches and other
support staff as appropriate.
