JOB TITLE: Kit Logistics Coordinator                               
REPORTING LINE: First Team Operations Manager
DEPARTMENT: Kit Department
LOCATIONS: The Training Centre
CONTRACT: Permanent, Full Time
An opportunity has arisen to join Rangers Football Club as a Kit Logistics Coordinator. Working alongside the Kit Logistics Manager, you will support the day to day functions of the Kit Department for training and match days. You will be responsible for assisting in each season’s kit order, reconciling kit deliveries, and maintaining an up to date digital kit inventory including regular stock-checks.
As the Kit Logistics Coordinator, you must be solutions orientated and thrive in both a proactive and reactive environment. You should have exceptional IT and soft skills and be able to build and form lasting relationships with the players and staff you support.
Maintain an up to date inventory of all kit (stored and distributed) for the First Team, with thorough and accurate processing of orders received.
Invoice matching, authorisation and processing against placed orders.
Monitor stock levels of training and match kit, including regular stock checks.
Liaising with the First Team Operations Manager and Commercial Department to record any variances in orders and placing additional orders when required providing information on quantities and sizes etc.
Ensure the efficient daily distribution and collection of all required kit and equipment required for training and matches.
Build, manage and maintain operational relationships with all kit suppliers and internal departments.
Support the First Team Kit Manager in working with laundry staff to ensure kit is always immaculate and available when required.
Ensure the Kit Room is kept well organised, and the Training Ground & Stadium Changing Rooms are always kept neat and devoid of clutter.
Support the Academy and Women’s Teams as required.
The candidate attributes include:
Job Knowledge
A minimum of two years previous experience in a supporting kit or operations role within an elite football or sporting environment.
Extensive use and maintenance of a digital stock control/inventory system.
Excellent IT skills, with the ability to quickly learn relevant software programmes.
A full clean driving licence is a requirement of this role
