Job Description The Role As an Interventions Coach you will be responsible to deliver a range of community intervention sessions within school and community settings. You will need have the ability to engage and inspire young people by delivering high-quality activities, such as sport and workshops, during key times, including evenings and weekends. Additionally, you will provide ongoing support by mentoring vulnerable and âat-riskâ young people within a 1:1 format and engage marginalised communities through diversionary and outreach work in and around targeted areas. The Person We are seeking a highly skilled and driven Interventions Coach, with excellent communication and active listening skills and the ability to show empathy and motivate others. You will need to demonstrate experience in creating, leading, and delivering sport and educational interventions and hold relevant qualifications such as a level 2 in Sport or Youth Work Practices. Given the need to engage with young people, you must have excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with different audiences.
