Summary
The international scout will work with and report to Chief Scout and Director of Scouting to identify players who may be of interest to Houston Dynamo FC in South America. The international scout will bring extensive knowledge of players, clubs, agents, and pertinent contacts in the region.
Duties And Responsibilities
To meaningfully contribute throughout the scouting processes by identifying, assessing, and recommending players on a regular basis.
Attend and cover games pertinent to the coverage of South America and occasional international competitions, with a comprehensive understand of the region’s talent pool.
Develop and facilitate relationships with relevant clubs, agents and contact in the region.
Complete scouting reports as assigned by the Chief Scout and Director of Scouting.
Liaise with Chief Scout and Director of Scouting to help coordinate travel to matches in the region.
Qualification Requirements
Experience working in the role or a similar role at a professional football club.
Superior knowledge of football in South America
Bilingual (English/ Portuguese) or (English/Spanish)
Ability to handle confidential information.
Proficient and experienced with pertinent scout tools such as Wyscout, ISF Scout7, Scoutastic, etc.

Excellent communication, with the ability to meet specific deadlines.
Acts with high levels of integrity and professionalism, with the ability to exercise discretion and good judgement.
High level of detail orientation, accuracy, and organization.
