The club set a MLS attendance record in its opening game with over 74,000 spectators in Bank of America Stadium and has been at the top of MLS in attendance throughout its first two seasons. The club has a fully funded player development pathway that is tasked with identifying and developing professional players from across the Carolinas and beyond to play in Major League Soccer (MLS). Position SummaryThe Charlotte Football Club Academy would like to hire a part-time education intern whose main focus will be providing academic MATH support to academy players across a variety of mathematical concepts. Charlotte FC Academy players have dedicated academic time where they are learning on an online/virtual platform during the hours of 9:00 am - 1:00 pm, four days per week. This position will be expected to work with students individually or in small groups of 3 to 5 during these hours. The day-stay program includes approximately 35 students ranging in age from 14 to 18 years of age.  Primary ResponsibilitiesProvide academic support during assigned hours to individual students and small groups (3-5 students).Primarily provide math tutoring in the following areas: algebra, geometry, trigonometry, and calculus Assist with homework.
