The Premier League and Game Partners are responsible for the development of the Professional game coaching workforce via the ongoing delivery of the Integrated Coaching Strategy (ICS.) The Premier League have developed a long-term strategic plan named the Elite Coaching Plan (ECP) with the vision of developing a world-leading coaching development system that provides development opportunities that are unmatched in sport and is recognised globally for consistently producing world-leading coaches for the professional game. The ECP feeds into the ICS.
The Integrated Coaching Board wishes to engage an enthusiastic and committed individual to lead on the coordination of activities of the Integrated Coaching Strategy (ICS)
The Integrated Coaching Strategy
The ICS is a collaborative association of the principal football bodies in the English professional game – Premier League, The Football Association, EFL, Women’s Super League, Women’s Championship, Professional Footballers Association, League Managers Association and League Coaches Association (together, the Game Partners), with the aim of delivering and sustaining a world-leading coaching and manager education, development and career pathways across English Men’s and Women’s professional football. It aims to achieve this by developing a thriving professional game, powered by a diverse workforce of world-class coaches and managers.
The ICS is overseen by an Integrated Coaching Board (ICB), made of nominated individuals from each of the Game Partners, including a Chair and Vice Chair.

We have a wide variety of responsibilities. These include organising the competition and its Handbook Book as well as managing the centralised broadcast and commercial rights. The work we do in conjunction with the Clubs also goes far beyond the 90 minutes. We support and provide a framework for youth development, we protect the organisation’s intellectual property, support the wider game and community programmes, undertake international development work and liaise with governing bodies and other leagues. .

Our hybrid-working model also allows you some variety on your place of work, offering you the chance to work from home on some days each week. Where possible, you will attend the office or site visits in line with our company policy. All staff liaise closely with their line manager to manage their time appropriately and according to their work and team requirements.
The role
The primary objective of the ICS Manager is to co-ordinate all ICB and ICS-related activities across the Game Partners, and effectively deliver the agreed season-by-season ICS objectives.
The ICS Manager will be responsible for all project management and regular reporting of ICS-related activities and will co-ordinate ICS activities.
Key responsibilities
·       Co-ordinate all ICS-related activities across the Game Partners
·       Collaborate with the Chair and Vice Chair of the Integrated Coaching Board (ICB) to manage and maintain the ICS Programme.
·       Plan work with the Game Partners to support the delivery of the ICS objectives, tracking and documenting progress against this work for reporting to the ICB.
·       Lead project management processes guiding the delivery of the ICS and ICB activities.
·       Work with the Game Partners to prepare communications and materials to raise ICS awareness, understanding and engagement.
·       Engage effectively with Game Partners, stakeholders, and project teams for specified projects. Provide data and insights demonstrating the impact of the work of the ICS.
·       Deliver regular updates to the ICB, Game Partners and other stakeholders.
·       Perform additional tasks related to the services, as required from time to time by the ICB.
Requirements for the role
Essential Criteria
·       Experience of complex stakeholder management and programmes of work
·       Proficiency in project management processes
·       Background in personal and professional development
·       Experience of handling and presenting data and insights, creation of dashboards, etc
·       Experience of budget and people management
·       Experience of working and presenting to senior stakeholders, including board members
