Role description

A new opportunity has arisen for a hard-working and organised individual to join the Hull City personnel department on a full time basis in the position of HR Advisor.
Location: MKM Stadium, West Park, Hull, HU3 6HU
Annual salary: £23,000 to £25,000
Closing date: Friday 13thMay 2022 at 4.00pm
Reporting to the HR Manager, the successful applicant will provide support in all personnel and employee relations matters and play a key role in the recruitment process for both Hull City SMC.
Candidates should have at least two years’ experience working in an HR environment and have, or ideally be working towards their CIPD Level 5 qualification.
Key duties responsibilities:

Assist with the management of the end-to-end recruitment process, in line with the recruitment policy, for Hull City SMC.
Prepare job advertisements and manage applications and the screening process
Assist with the interview and selection process and responses to all applicants
Prepare contracts, offer letters and job descriptions for new employees
Request references, conduct inductions for new staff and ensure all relevant paperwork is in place
Respond to resignations and manage the exit process ie. prepare letters of response, conduct exit interviews etc.
Manage training requests and requirements and prepare all training reports
Update all policies and procedures including the staff handbook
Management of the E learning system to ensuring courses are assigned, completed and documented by all employees within the Stadium, Academy and Training Ground and ensuring compliance to recent legislation such as Health and Safety, as well as development and progression courses for succession planning.
Member of the steering group for the EFL Equality Diversity Audit and assist with the completion of the report, data analysis, action plan and on-going groups tasks as well as attending meetings and reviewing the ever changing data and strategy
Prepare personnel documents, including appraisal documents, absence forms, medical questionnaires and right to work documentation in line with GDPR
Manage induction process for new employees at the MKM Stadium
Assist the HR Manager with any grievance, disciplinary or capability issues which may arise, taking notes at meetings and drafting correspondence.
Using the Sage or Oracle HR system, create and accurately maintain all employee records, such as logging absence, appraisals and producing reports when necessary.
Alongside the Stewards Administrator, manage the casual worker files, including SMC stewards, ensuring compliance with Employment Law and Data Protection
Support the Safeguarding Manager with any administration needs, including maintaining the Club DBS Single Central Record in accordance with EFL regulations.
Record the distribution and circulation of IT equipment, such as laptops, arranging replacements and repairs with the company external IT provider.
Prepare outgoing mail, distribute incoming mail and record franking machine and postage usage.
Book repairs, services and MOT etc. for company vehicles, including tractors and Academy vehicles
Respond to general correspondence as required.
Prepare purchase orders when required.
Any other duties commensurate to the role.
