Role description

The Department

The Aston Villa Foundation is the official Charity of Aston Villa Football Club and prides itself in being innovative in its approach to the club being used as a ‘Force for Good’. The Health and Wellbeing department focus provision towards key local health agendas such as Weight Management, Mental Health and Wellbeing and Physical Activity, utilising behaviour change models to improve the overall health of the end user across these three themes.



The Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Health and fitness professional to join our existing team. The role includes the delivery of health provision, coordination of project delivery and admin duties, the post holder will be accountable for developing and creating referral links into existing services whilst leading on a wide range of health-related interventions across the targeted agendas.



The post holder will make a positive contribution to the formulation of existing and new programs/projects, supporting the Health and Wellbeing Manager on report writing and data extraction. Ideally you will have a minimum of a Level 2 NGB Health and fitness related qualifications and relevant experience of delivering health related interventions, whilst using sport and physical activity as vehicle for change. The role will require person to undertake evening and weekend project delivery
