The Head of Talent ID & Recruitment is in charge of the development of the vision on Talent identification and recruitment. You implement this holistic vision in the entire organization (1st team, U23, Academy and both male & women).1. The club comprises a men’s and women’s department and an extensive Academy. 3. General description The Head of Talent ID & Recruitment is in charge of the development of the vision on Talent identification and recruitment. You implement this holistic vision in the entire organization (1st team, U23, Academy and both male & women). You always ensure a complete and detailed plan for potential reinforcements of the club. You build an efficient scouting and detection network and develop a top-level roadmap with procedures from detection to on-boarding of talents. You help building the teams of tomorrow. 5. Particular responsibilities: ü Develop a holistic vision on talent, player development, detection and recruitment, in line with the club’s philosophy and culture ü Develop clear profiles per position, per formation, as much as possible measurable by objective data ü Have a shadow team available per position and per formation at all times ü Map the financial framework of potential players together with thorough background checks ü Support the long-term squad planning. ü Organize and structure the intern and extern scouting and detection, define a clear scouting philosophy with clear objectives and procedures for profiling, detection, screening, recruiting, and on-boarding. ü Building a scouting department with clear objectives, responsibilities, roles, and processes. ü Building a network of club, scouts, intermediates in certain key markets and regions ü Strong knowledge of the football landscape, both national and international; up to date with the latest trends ü Regular exchange of knowledge and know-how with the LCFC scouting and recruiting team 6. Requirements, qualities and training Training Training Work experience Number of years’ experience 4 years’ experience Personal qualities Languages Dutch, French & English fluently written and spoken, all other languages are an additional asset Knowledge (IT, …) ü Strong football knowledge and proven track record in talent ID, scouting and recruitment ü Proven track record of value creation with young potentials ü Knowledge of the recent and performant date packages, providers, and tools ü Establishing a clear vision ü Lead the team with clear KPI’s and objectives ü Top level planning and organization skills Personal characteristics ü Strong organization skills ü Daily presence at the club ü Result driven multitasker ü Dedicated, proactive and driven ü Stress resistant ü Discrete ü Flexible ü Team player ü Good communicator ü Strong negotiation skills 7.
