Main Purpose of the Post
The Swansea University Football Club (SUFC) are seeking to build upon the integrated structure, programme, environment, and culture to support men’s and women’s players to engage, develop and strive for success through both internal and external football and futsal offers.
The role holder will provide leadership across the football and futsal programmes and will build upon the current SUFC provision and success to date. The role will deliver and embrace Swansea University’s ‘sport for all’ ethos that runs through our current 2020-23 Sport Swansea: Active University Strategy and will operate across all three core strategic pillars:
Inspire – High Performance
Aspire – Recreational / Competitive
Engage – Introductory
The post holder will:
The role holder will provide strategically driven leadership and management for both men’s and women’s football and futsal programmes across the 3 core Sport Swansea strategic pillars.
The role holder will successfully deliver on and develop the critical success factors required by high performance programmes at Swansea University, which include Performance, Engagement, Recruitment & Marketing, Resources, Finance, and Governance.
The role holder will plan, lead, and implement professional standards across the coaching provision for performance football and futsal within BUCS competitions and Welsh Leagues at Swansea University.
