Chicago Fire Football Club is a Major League Soccer team that was founded in 1997. The Club returned to Soldier Field as well as opened a new 50,000 square foot business office in the heart of the city. With tremendous growth and expansion, the Club is laying the foundation for an ambitious vision that will transform the Club in the coming years.Position Overview:Chicago Fire Youth Soccer Club (CFYSC) is seeking a highly self-motivated individual to oversee our Performance Phase (U15-U19). With a proven track record of helping to develop players and coaches, CFYSC aims to be the premier destination in Chicagoland for young footballers. The successful individual must possess a character and skillset that enables them to deliver first-class soccer programming. Job Responsibilities: Organize and implement all programs and teams within the phase, ensuring the completion of all roster management needs, training/games schedules, management of the coaching staff and other duties as requiredWork in conjunction with the Director of Coaching, CFYSC to deliver an age-appropriate curriculum that is aligned with by club’s game model and defined learning outcomesCommunicate effectively with club members to ensure all club related questions & concerns are promptly addressedFinalize all league/tournament placements for phase teams and support registration needsMonitor staff performance in relation to expectations outlined by the leadership teamConduct yearly coaching assessments of all technical staff within the phaseSupport staff development opportunities through educational clinics & licensingUtilize video to capture training sessions and games for the purpose of player and coach educationLead parent education sessions on all relevant topics Oversee the planning and execution of club tryouts as well as individual tryoutsCoach one full-year or two HS team(s) and support others with coaching duties when requiredAlongside the leadership team and where required, lead/support all supplemental training and events (indoor league and tournament) Represent the club with all relevant leagues and organizing bodiesSupport the Chicago Fire Academy with player identification & benchmarking of local playersSupport players in the college recruitment process through information nights and individual assistanceOversee the boys’ and girls’ college showcases and college clinics Qualifications:A passion for soccer and working with players from 14-19 years old6 years of youth soccer coaching experience; management experience preferredHold a current USSF B coaching license or equivalent; A license preferredAbility to communicate effectively to club membership, leadership, players and staffExcellent organizational skillsBilingual (English and Spanish) preferredUnderstanding of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and other Office ProductsMust complete all SafeSport training requirementsMust complete and pass all club background screen processesValid driver’s license and access to a vehicleAbility to work weeknights, weekends, and holidaysPlease note:Chicago Fire FC is committed to fostering, cultivating, and preserving a culture of diversity, equity, accessibility, and inclusion.
