Nature of Work:
Scout, and maintain a network of contacts in North America, especially within the American soccer pyramid and US and Canadian youth levels, for the purpose of delivering recruitment targets to the club’s Director of Scouting and Sporting Director.
Examples of work performed:
Watch video of and attend matches in North America.
Identify players that are in line with the club’s strategic goals.
Attend Rapids 1st team training sessions to ensure appropriate benchmarking of players.

Clear vision at 20”, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Qualifications:
Minimum
High School or GED
4+ years’ experience in field
Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.
Preferred
Certification or soccer licensure either as a coach or in talent identification
US Soccer B license or equivalent

Possess or have access to a broad network of scouting contacts both inside and outside of the US
Ability to strategically execute on recruitment goals
Understanding of the rules and conditions of MLS and how they impact player recruitment
Ability to manage and delegate responsibility.
Compensation
Base $75,000 per annum
