Founded in 1889, Forest Green Rovers is a football club with a rich history – but we're also at the forefront of something entirely new here. FIFA described us as the greenest football club in the world – it's undoubtedly true that no other football club in the world has put the environment at the heart of what it does. And we continue to do this everyday.

On the field, our aim is to compete in the Championship – our recent promotion to League One is the second step of that journey - and we're planning to build a stadium to match those ambitions. Designed by world-renowned architect Zaha Hadid, 'Eco Park' will be the only stadium made entirely of wood.

About the Role

This is a crucial senior role in the day-to-day operation of our Club. You’ll be responsible for the organisation, planning and delivery of exceptional matchdays at The Bolt New Lawn. From ticketing and hospitality, to F&B service (catering outlets and bars) and matchday staff, this role is varied in nature but very specific in its mission – to give both home and away fans the very best experience when travelling to watch a match at the stadium.

To lead the planning of each individual Forest Green Rovers FC matchday at the Bolt New Lawn Stadium, ensuring all relevant departments are prepared to deliver exceptional matchday experiences.
To manage all ticketing activities relating to matchdays
To carry out pre-match checks prior to a matchday
To act as the escalation point of contact for Supervisors on a matchday.
To assist in the facilitation of training of staff in relation to matchday operations
To ensure that supporters are central to the matchday experience and excellent fan experience is received across all touch points.
To provide support to matchday hospitality staff, ensuring excellent customer service is delivered at all times to hospitality guests.
To consistently seek to improve all matchday operational areas both in terms of service, spend and deliverables.
To support in relevant post-match reporting and review processes. Developing the ticketing system to continually provide the best ticketing solutions to the supporters of both clubs.





About the Candidate:

Essentials for this role are:

Ability to demonstrate previous experience in ticketing, but it doesn’t have to be in sport.
Think and act proactively, to ensure matchdays are planned in advance and delivered seamlessly.
Be able to manage your team, both during the week and on matchdays.
Bring an ambitious, forward-thinking attitude to our team.

Other expertise required:

Manage communication with teams internally Fan relations in person, via email and telephone
Engage with Season Ticket Holders and casual fans via email campaigns
Complete matchday financial reports
Day to day administration for FGR’s Ticket Office
You’ll be available on home match days and receive time in lieu during the week.

Other requirements
A full driving license
Must be able to work on home match days
Subject to a full DBS Disclosure certification
Based at: Forest Green Rovers F.C., the New Lawn, another Way, Nailsworth, Gloucestershire GL6 0FG, with flexibility to work from home.
