Job Purpose

The purpose of the role is to provide leadership of our education and training programmes.You will be responsible for the development, growth, impact and sustainability of a suite of education and training programmes that engage people in our communities and ultimately
change lives and transform communities.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

1. To demonstrate a commitment to our values and mission.

3. To be an active member of the senior leadership team working with colleagues to achieve strategic goals.
4. To understand emerging trends in education and respond to changes in need.
5. Ensure provision is delivered to the highest standards whilst contributing to the mission and strategic goals.

Operational Management

6. To support a culture of accountability and collaboration to empower decision making.
7. To oversee and support the development, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of long-term service delivery plans.
8. To oversee the implementation of impact measurement and evaluation tools for education programmes.
9. To provide oversight and direction to recruitment strategies.
10. To work with the Head of Finance & Resources to build, set and monitor education & training budgets.
11. To identify opportunities, liaise with income generation team to secure funding contracts.
12. To cultivate, manage, and maintain high level relationships and influence key stakeholders.Stakeholder engagement
13. To ensure the organisation is actively engaged in regional and local discussions regarding education and training provision.
14. To work with the Head of Income Generation & External Affairs to build and maintain key relationships.
15. To be an ambassador for the organisation with a strong external focus.
16. To maintain awareness of regulatory changes and support the design of processes to ensure compliance.


17. To understand and ensure compliance with the regulatory environment and ensure compliance.
18. To champion the highest standards of safeguarding, data protection and health and safety.
19. To meet deadlines agreed with line manager and key partners regarding reporting of key performance indicators and other targets.
20. To undertake any relevant training as required by the line manager or in line with expectations of the programme funder.
21. To attend and participate in meetings with Foundation staff, funding providers and other meetings as appropriate.
22. To exhibit and promote company values & behaviours.
23. Promote and celebrate equality, diversity & inclusion.
24. To out carry any additional work and duties that meet the needs of the business.
