Role Summary:The role will be responsible for devising and implementing the club’s commercial strategy to drive, retain and develop the business, in order to maximise revenue and profitability for the football club.
Roles and Responsibilities:
To develop a cohesive commercial strategy and plan to enable the club to achieve and exceed commercial targets.
To manage sales plans to achieve targets.
To agree and manage budgets as directed by the CEO.
To manage relationships with commercial partners.
To maximise support for all sales initiatives.
Lead the sales team to ensure that hospitality areas are sold out for each fixture.
Source new commercial partners at all levels of the club.
Maximise the clubs assets to generate as much income as possible to support the clubs infield ambitions.
Ensure that events are held regularly at the stadium throughout the season which generate future income for the football club.
Be innovative and creative to develop new revenue streams and commercial opportunities.
Drive the commercial strategy for the club to work in tandem with the clubs on field ambitions.
Any other duties as deemed reasonable by the CEO.
General Duties and Accountabilities:
To support Bristol Rovers Football Club in their aims and objectives at all times.
To ensure compliance with all relevant club policies, including health and safety policies.
To ensure compliance with all relevant legal, regulatory, ethical and social requirements.
To keep confidential any information gained regarding the charity, club and its personnel.
To represent Bristol Rovers Football Club in a professional manner.
To maintain a flexible approach to work at all times.
To undertake other duties and responsibilities as required from time to time.
