Reporting organisationally to the Executive Director, Commercial Operations, the Head of Brand will be a key member of the FIFA26 Commercial Operations team, and work in close collaboration with the FIFA Zurich Brand Team Lead and other key individuals responsible for delivering the planning, operation and successful delivery of all brand and promotional activations across the tournament and Host Cities.


The main responsibilities and oversights of the Head of Brand for the FIFA World Cup 26™ include:

Translate marketing strategies into brand activations by coordinating with Host Cities on the overall operational approach Lead the creative ideation and input to ensure a state-of-the-art representation of the FIFA brand, behaviours and messages for the Host Cities
Construct the 360 experiences and client journeys expressing the brand in all touchpoints, inspiring and communicating with different stakeholders for implementation
Support on the development of collaboration strategies and implementation with Host Cities.
Manage the execution and utilisation of the brand assets across all media: from physical spaces, stadiums and experiential, to digital, licensed and virtual environments.
Acting as the focal point, manage the day-to-day brand and IP relations with Host Cities ensuring accurate positioning of the FIFA Emblem & City Themes.
Coordinate activities of all FIFA World Cup 26 departments involved in the preparation and implementation of any event milestions and promotional activations by preparing the project plan ensuring integration of all teams in its development. Proactively manage changes in the project scope
Work with marketing teams to implement the promotion/communication and digital rights strategies as it relates to the brand
Manage the procurement strategy as it relates to brand activations ensuring the involvement of Procurement and Legal for the tendering and contracting of suppliers and service providers
Cost effective management through planning and controlling budgets to consistently achieve the recognised standards and level of expectations
Collate reports on project progress, highlighting issues/risk areas while identifying mitigation plans, sharing with FIFA Management
Manage your team responsible for all pre-planning and onsite activities by assigning tasks, distributing workload, follow-up reporting and debriefs


Bachelor’s Degree or similar education, Master’s Degree preferred
Minimum 10 years of experience in Creative Brand functions, sports and/or entertainment industry experience an advantage
Proven track-record in managing complex creative projects with multiple clients/stakeholders
Experience in marketing rights, brand protection, management and promotion
Experience of competition or entertainment event marketing & promotion
International or experience working in organizations with international offices/staff
Senior-level management experience
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships across multiple teams and at varying levels, both internally and externally
Client oriented, efficient and effective
Highly creative an initiative-taking
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Keenly observant, innovative and strong problem-solving abilities
