About us

FK Vilnius is a constantly growing club from the Lithuanian capital Vilnius. In the past four years, our senior women's Team won the right to participate in the TOP division, where the 2022 season was the best, and the Team took 3rd place in the league.
Together with the senior Team, our girl's and boys' football academy grew significantly. Currently, the club's girl's academy has 3 teams: U13, U15, and U17. Meanwhile, the boy's oldest Team is U12, with U8, U9, U10, and U11 teams.

To gain quality, experience, and potion for the senior Team, Club is looking for a coach leader who is looking for player development and himself as a coach.

Duties Responsibilities
To plan, organize, and direct all aspects of the Team's training schedule daily and weekly.
To develop and implement training programs that reflect the club's philosophy, objectives, and long-term vision.
To evaluate players' technical and tactical abilities and physical and mental attributes to determine strengths and areas for improvement.
To lead in the planning, delivering, and recording of all coaching sessions for the club director.
Identify and recruit talents to the senior Team from youth teams.
Work closely with the club's medical staff to ensure player safety and rehabilitation from injuries.
Mentor youth team coaches.
Analyze opponents to develop game plans and strategies and make adjustments during games.
Motivate players to perform at their best and instill a positive attitude within the Team.
Manage the Team's disciplinary actions.
Handle media inquiries and act as a spokesperson for the Team when necessary.
Keep abreast of coaching methods, sports science, and nutrition developments to improve team performance.
Attend league meetings, workshops, and clinics to stay up-to-date on changes and trends in the sport
Perform administrative duties such as maintaining player records, etc.

Required Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in physical education or related field.
UEFA "B" coaching license or higher.
3+ years of professional football coaching experience.
At least 1 year of proven experience in women's football.
Proven success as a head coach professional level or at the youth (WU17 – WU19).
Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
In-depth knowledge of football tactics and training methods.
Driving license.
