Job Title: Hereford FC Women’s Head Coach
Report to: Hereford FC Women’s Head of Football
Responsible for: All Hereford FC Women’s team coaches and volunteers
Location: Based at Edgar Street with additional travel to various other locations within Herefordshire and the Midlands
Hours of Work: Due to the nature of the role the applicant will be expected to be available for all Women’s’ games and training sessions, in line with the football calendar.
League: MidWest Counties
Contract: Casual/Sessional Worker
Job Purpose: Managing the Hereford FC Women’s Football team
Salary: Voluntary
Period: Role will be reviewed at the end of each season
Closing Date: Tuesday 31st January 2023

Main duties and responsibilities:

Organising logistics for training and game day
Establish and maintain a high-quality leading-edge learning environment in line with the Club’s strategy and Values.
Produce a team and players with a philosophy and style that bridges the transition from development football to First Team football
Produce versatile and adaptable players capable of performing to a high standard in different formations and with varying tactical roles and responsibilities
To lead in the planning, delivery, and recording of all coaching sessions for Hereford FC Women’s group in line with the club’s technical program
To lead in the organisation, delivery and recording of reviews in line with the club player assessment policy
To lead in the assessment, evaluation and development of individual programs for players
To create, update and deliver players Individual Learning Plans
To lead the Women’s fixtures program including individual and team assessments
To support and ensure the sufficient contact time is attained with all players
To attend the required FA in-service training
The Employee must at all times carry out his/her responsibilities with due regard to the football club policies and procedures, in particular Health & Safety, Financial Authorisation, Confidentiality and with regard to the Data Protection Act
The job will require you to travel within the UK
The job will require you to work unsociable hours including evenings and weekends

Essential requirements
Ability to organise, plan and deliver sporting activities and to evaluate every session
Qualified UEFA B licence or FA Level 2
FA modules 1,2 &3
Qualified first aider Level 1
Safeguarding Children Certificate
Be available to work unsociable hours including evenings, weekends
Ability to engage with young/older people from all backgrounds
Knowledge of safety requirements and child protection issues
Good communication skills
UK driving licence

Desirable requirements
Knowledge of issues affecting young/older people
Demonstrate high motivation and the ability to work effectively with minimal supervision
Effective communication skills and ability to motivate others
Individual and group work skills
Understanding and awareness of equal opportunities and ability to apply knowledge to the project
