Role description

Reporting to the Technical Director and the General Secretary, the Head Coach,NationalWomen Teamsis responsible for the preparation of the National Women teams as follows:

The role will be mainly coaching, with elements of leadership and administration. The Head Coach will work closely with the Technical Division staff, National Women Youth Coaches, Specialist Coaches and Club Coaches.
Responsible for leading the planning, organisation and coaching of the National Women Teams with the goal of meeting performance targets of all international and regional competitions, including preparing the National Women “A Team for the 32ndSEA Games 2023, Asian Games, AFF Championships and Olympic qualifiers in 2023.
Responsible for selecting players, planning, and implementing effective training programmes and coordinating programmes and activities and commitments of the Teams in consultation with the Technical Director, Club coaches and other National coaches of youth teams.
Oversee the training programmesand preparation of the National Women “A and National Women Youth Teams to be aligned in the same playing philosophy.
Oversee coaching clinics and outreach activities in schools to encourage more girls to play football.
Oversee and mentor the coaches in the various National Women teams.
Any other duties as assigned by the General Secretary or the Technical Director.

Job Specifications:

Minimum AFC Professional Coaching Diploma holder or equivalent.
At least 2 years experience in coaching at an elite level, preferably with experience in coaching women football in Asia.
Strong management, organisational, motivational, and strategising skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
