NCAA coaching experience required
Demonstrated participation in a successful soccer program
Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations
Knowledge of general university policies and procedures
Candidate should possess a strong commitment and ability to motivate, teach, counsel, communicate and recruit academically and athletically qualified student-athletes
Bachelor’s degree with additional consideration given to applicants who possess a Masters’ degree
Texas State University, a member of the Sun Belt Conference, is seeking applications for the position of Head Coach for Women’s Soccer. This position is a full-time benefits eligible position and reports to the Executive Senior Associate AD – External.
The Head Coach for Women’s Soccer is responsible for the daily management and administration of all phases of a Division I Women’s Soccer program in accordance with all NCAA, Conference and University rules and regulations. Specific areas of responsibility include: practice, preparation and strategy; assessment and recruitment of prospective student-athletes; preparation and oversight of budgets; monitoring academic progress of student-athletes; community outreach; program specific and Athletic Department public relations, marketing and fundraising; Supervision of Assistant Coaches and other duties as assigned.
