Dorking Wanderers is a fast growing and forward thinking football club playing in the National League (South). With a British record number of promotions the club are never standing still and always looking to progress. The club has a successful youth setup with a successful record of producing players through the youth section to the first team and beyond, with 11 of last year’s County Cup winning U16s have gone on to represent the club’s Reserves/B Team this year with three players being selected for the First team match-day squad! With a number of players going on to Premier League clubs such as Brighton, Crystal Palace, Fulham and Wolverhampton Wanderers.



With coaches moving on to other projects, Dorking Wanderers are excited to announce we are currently searching for talented and enthusiastic Head Coaches to manage teams within the Foundation and Youth Development Phases.


Responsibilities
The coach will be responsible for leading coaching sessions and games, with all home games and sessions taking place at the excellent Meadowbank Stadium, Dorking, RH4 1DX (occasionally at Surrey Sports Park and St John's Primary).


The successful candidate will run games (Sundays) inline with club philosophy and focus on playing attractive free flowing football with player development prioritised over all else. Coaches will be supported


Sessions should be fun and engaging making sure players are getting lots of touches on the ball and many opportunities for trial and error in order to develop intelligent and well rounded players both on and off the pitch.


Qualifications
FA Level 2/UEFA 'C' (UEFA 'B' preferred)
FA Safeguarding Children
FA Introduction to First Aid
Full Clean Driving Licence
Enhanced DBS
Degree in Football Coaching or related subjected (Desirable)
