ROLE DESCRIPTION

CAF is recruiting a Guest Management and Protocol Manager.
Responsibilities:
Report to the Head of Tournament Services and work collaboratively with other departments to provide high quality experiences to guests;
Define and implement guest management policies and procedures consistent with CAF standards;
Liaise with all relevant CAF departments and external stakeholders to plan and implement guest management policy and services;
Define work plans for the execution of guest management for all CAF tournaments and events;
Prepare guest lists and invitation letters and follow up with guests to confirm their attendance;
Monitor guest requests and reservations in liaison with the CAF Travel and Accommodation Department;
Ensure the delivery of required service levels for VVIP/VIP guests during all CAF tournaments and events;
Coordinate with local organizing committees for optimal implementation of CAF guest management policy and services;
Design a strategy for implementing comprehensive guest management software to provide guests with the best experience
Establish and monitor a guest movement tracking system during all CAF tournaments and events;
Produce regular reports on activities and progress of work;
Manage daily operations and liaise with all relevant CAF departments as well as external stakeholders;
Prepare and submit reports following events;
Evaluate guest satisfaction, identify deficiencies and recommend improvements;
Maintain best practices at all times by initiating and proposing innovative and cutting-edge concepts.
Requirements (profile):
University degree in business administration, hospitality or a related field.
At least five (5) years of experience in guest management or hospitality; experience in the sports sector is an asset;
Attention to detail;
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills;
Ability to work in a team, learn from others and share knowledge with them;
Strong oral and written communication skills;
Ability to build strong relationships in a multicultural environment;
Flexibility to travel and ability to multitask;
Proficient in Microsoft Office and other modern IT tools;
Fluency in English and/or French, both written and spoken; mastery of any other official CAF language (English, French, Arabic) is an asset;
