Role description
Job purpose:
To handle all group reservations in line with brand and company standards providing efficient and high standards of work to maximise room revenue and guest satisfaction. It will be key that you work closely with all other departments within the hotel
Role Competencies:
Planning Timescales: Assist the with daily groups check list and processes in the reservations department Manage group bookings in line with the group booking procedure Manage group inventory and ensure that it is kept up to date until departure
Decision Making: Quote rates the optimum rate to secure business whilst maximising total hotel revenue
Impact Influence: Promote the hotel and the brand to all guests via incoming calls and via emails Maximise guest satisfaction
Skill Level: Input and access data in the property reservation system
Communication: Identify guest needs, determine appropriate room type, verify availability of room type, explaining guarantee, special rate and cancellation policies To maintain a strong communication and working relationship with all departments
Budget Management: To maximise hotel revenue use of standard selling techniques and pricing
