POSITION: GRASSROOTS SOCCER COACHES (U4-U12)

OVERVIEW

Elite Soccer Clinics is seeking highly motivated and passionate coaches for its grassroots program (U4-

U12). The coach will be responsible for providing oversight and development of all participants

registered to the program.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Implementing and facilitating soccer sessions and drills
Deliver the technical and tactical coaching curriculum provided by Elite Soccer Clinics
Arriving 15 minutes early and staying 15 minutes late to help set up and take down equipment
Emphasizing skill development (technical and tactical), ensuring a safe space, and encouraging
fair play and sportsmanship

To be responsible for the safety and welfare of all players under your care
Uphold academy’s policies, procedures, and expectations
Uphold the player, parent and coaching standards of the program
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION REQUIRED

1-5 years coaching experience at a Grassroots level
Education: High school diploma or GED minimum
Proven work experience as a youth soccer coach
Relevant experience working with children
Passion for youth development
Good communication, patience and interpersonal skills
Understanding and knowledge of soccer strategies and drills
Ability to remain calm in stressful situations
Growth mindset and willingness to learn
Proven ability to work in a team environment
Police Check (Police Vulnerable Sector Check) required
