ABOUT US CLUB SOCCER
A National Association member of the U.S. Soccer Federation, US Club Soccer fosters the growth and development of soccer clubs to create the best possible development environment for players of all ages.
US Club Soccer Marketing Communications Department champions the brand, creates best-in-class content and catalyzes the organization. At our core, we are: storytellers, collaborative, creative, insatiably curious, brand ambassadors, voracious media consumers and detail-obsessed.
OVERVIEW
Working directly with the Sr. Creative Coordinator and within the Marketing Communications Department, the Graphic Design Intern will learn creative techniques and tools, while gaining valuable experience designing assets for US Club Soccer digital channels. These assets will be used for social media, web, email, event marketing and partnership marketing.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Develop various creative marketing deliverables, including: graphics, logos, presentations, and collateral material, while ensuring brand consistency. Abilities or interest in animations and videos are a plus.
Content creation is the name of the game. Strategize and develop content for all of US Club Soccer platforms and execute templated designs to effectively scale our branding to member leagues and clubs.
Contribute to the execution of various communications and marketing plans, including event-based.
Assist with the development of sponsorship decks for prospective and current partners and sponsors.
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS
This position can be used for academic credit or simply a part-time job, depending on the applicant. The ideal candidate is proactive, motivated and organized, of high integrity, and able to work cooperatively in a team environment while representing US Club Soccer in a professional manner. Additional qualifications are as follows:
Located in the Charleston, S.C. area and able to come to the office for agreed upon days to work in person with staff.
Passion for creative design and motivated to learn relevant software, particularly the Adobe Creative Suite. Ability to use his/her own laptop or Mac is required.
Skilled in communications, time management and prioritization. Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and independently, and produce high-quality output within specific time constraints.
Knowledge of soccer is preferred, but not required.
