We have been working away from the pitch to grow and develop the goalkeeping department, and following the formulation of a new structure we are pleased to announce the following new roles within the Elite Football department.
Academy goalkeeping coach full time
This is a new role created to support the Head of Club Doncaster Goalkeeping with all aspects of male youth development.
The successful person will be responsible for developing and delivering the programme across all ages of the academy, but with a specific focus on 12-17 age bracket delivering and planning sessions across the week to have an impact on the goalkeeping sessions of all age groups.
The successful candidate should have possess UEFA B GK, and outfield qualifications, and previous experience working within an EPL/EFL Academy setting.
Elite youth goalkeeping coach part time
This role has been created to dually support the male and female elite programmes that operate across Club Doncaster.
The successful person will be responsible for the delivery of goalkeeping sessions at aged 9-12, and take a lead role on the development and goalkeeping support within the Doncaster Belles Regional Talent Centre Programme.
The role will work across evenings and weekends to deliver sessions, and candidates should have a keen interest in player development and the progression of players through the elite systems in place.
Candidates should possess their UEFA B qualification, and have some demonstrably experience in delivering sessions to children and young people identified for elite pathways.
First team goalkeeper coach – Doncaster Rovers Belles
This role has been created to support the senior female team for one session per week and match day support.
The person will be responsible for the planning and delivery of sessions to the senior goalkeeping unit, and liaise with the football management team around game plans, match day activities and the role of the goalkeeper during sectors of play.
Candidates should possess significant experience in coaching females within the elite football pyramid, and have a minimum of a level II coaching qualification.
In all roles, successful applicants will be required to plan, record, review and implement coaching sessions that complement the coaching programme, this will include the attendance at a nominated training session during the week at Doncaster, and attendance at games.

Specific experience working within an elite GK role
Prior experience of working within player development environments
Basic First Aid for Sport
Valid Safeguarding Certificates
An understanding of elite sports environment and the ability to support parents and players during positive and testing times
Good communication/listening skills
Flexible approach and good time management skills
