ROLE DESCRIPTION

About the job
All India Football Federation is looking for an experienced and talented Goalkeeping coach for the Indian National U16 team for SAFF Championship. The selected candidate will be responsible for training and developing the goalkeepers in the squad. They will work closely with the Head Coach and other members of the coaching staff to help the team prepare for the tournament. The primary goal will be to ensure that the goalkeepers are physically and mentally prepared to perform at their best during the competition.

Key Deliverables

# 1 Develop and implement a comprehensive goalkeeping training program that addresses the technical, tactical, physical, and mental aspects of the position. 2 Evaluate the performance of the goalkeepers during training and matches and support them with timely feedback to improve their skills and decision-making. 3 Work with the Head coach and other members of the coaching staff to develop game plans and strategies that optimize the performance of the goalkeepers and the team. 4 Monitor the physical and mental health of the goal keepers of the opposition teams and develop strategies to counter their strengths and exploit their weakness. 5 Build a positive team culture and foster an environment that promotes growth and development for the goalkeepers. 6 Attend all team meetings, training sessions, and matches as required by the Head Coach. 7 Communicate effectively with players, coaching staff, and management to ensure the smooth operation of the team.

Qualifications

Must have at least AFC Goalkeeping level 2 minimum.
At least 5 years of work experience in coaching goalkeepers at the youth or professional level.
Excellent knowledge of the technical and tactical aspects of the goalkeeping position.
Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing situations.
Passion for football and commitment to the development of young players.
Must be willing to travel and work flexible hours as required by the team schedule.
