Job Description
The person in this position is responsible for the development of the Academy's goaltenders. Her main task is to offer quality training through her knowledge and experience. She must ensure close follow-up with the athletes, the technical staff of the Academy as well as the goalkeeper development coordinator of the First Team in order to develop the players both on and off the field, and ensure alignment with the Club's sporting philosophy.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Planning training sessions;
Responsible for squad management and tactical choices during matches, taking into account the playing time needs of each player;
Preparation of match reports: individual evaluations and statistical monitoring;
Evaluation of players and participation in technical discussions with the Academy director and professional staff if necessary;
Follow-up of the individualized plan;
Feedback with players;
Preparation of individual meetings;
Participation in Academy detections;
Participation in Academy technical meetings;
Continuous collaboration with the physical and mental trainers, the performance culture manager and the therapists;
Ongoing collaboration with all educators;
Perform other related duties.
Qualifications
Hold an A license from the Canadian Soccer Association or equivalent;
Hold a bachelor's degree in physical education or other related field, an asset;
Have training in physical and/or mental preparation, an asset;
Have more than 5 years of experience as a soccer coach in a professional, semi-pro team, or national team (Senior, U23, U20, U17);
Having experience as a pro soccer player is an asset;
Be able to mobilize your team, promote its development and use potential and transmit the values ​​of the Academy;
Demonstrate professionalism, dynamism and know how to work in a team, know how to constantly adapt in a changing environment;
Have communication and knowledge transfer skills;
Be athletic, passionate about soccer and results oriented;
Constantly seek to improve;
Ability to deal with pressure and stressful situations;
Master the MS Office suite;
Master French and English, spoken and written;
Be available day, evening and weekend, depending on the game and event schedule.
