Position Status: Part time/ContractLocation: Cambridge, OntarioReports to: Head of GK ProgramStart Date: Immediately
Cambridge Youth Soccer is seeking Goalkeeper Coaches for their Skill Centre, Academy, OPDL League1 programs.
Duties and Responsibilities Plan and deliver the technical and tactical goalkeeper program Utilize coaching resources and software to help plan and manage training sessions and game play Establish a periodized season plan aligned with the technical direction of the club and in keeping with program specific requirements Conduct match preparation meetings and analysis specific for the goalkeeper Liaise with other coaches in CYS to identify and promote all Cambridge United Programs Prepare goalkeeper evaluations as requested by Ontario Soccer (2 per season) Conduct OPDL Individual Development Plan Player Meetings (3 per season) goalkeepers only
Competencies and Skills Required Legally entitled to work in Canada A clear understanding of the soccer environment in Ontario Support and promote Ontario Soccer Long-term Player Development Plan (LTPD) Responsible for the safety and welfare of all players under your care Extensive knowledge of the game Proven ability to work in a team environment Strong interpersonal, communication and time management skills IDEAL: Ontario Soccer GK Diploma or Ontario Soccer GK Certificate and C License Certified
