ROLE DESCRIPTION

Unleash The Roar! is about building the Singapore football ecosystem that will serve to inspire and unite the nation. Co-led by SportSG and the Football Association of Singapore (FAS), it is about the journey that will establish football as a sport with high participation, high performance regionally and internationally, and an economically viable professional career.

The National Development Centre (NDC) and Junior National Development Centre (JNDC), under the supervision of FAS, aims to develop Singapore National Team players who will not only represent Singapore but also raise the level of our National Teams.

As part of the coaching team, you will be part of a dynamic team of coaches responsible for the delivery of an elite level in this footballing journey.

In this role, you will:

Coach different JDC/NDC Goalkeepers as directed by Head Goalkeeper Coach
Design and deliver age-appropriate coaching sessions to Goalkeepers in allocated age groups
Work closely with Head Coaches to ensure Goalkeepers receive appropriate training when integrated with the main squad and when training in isolation
Work with Head Coaches to ensure optimum match day performance from all Goalkeepers
Work closely with the FAS’s Head of Talent ID to identify suitable Goalkeepers for NDC
Requirements

Experience working with potentially elite young Goalkeepers in the U10 to U16 age range at both a professional level, ideally with National Youth Teams
Minimum AFC Goalkeeping ‘C’ Licence
Ability to work and collaborate as part of a team
High level of communication and interpersonal skills
Good command of English
Adequate presentation skills and IT knowledge
Present a good role model for players/other coaches
