JOB TITLE: Girl’s Project Coordinator
DEPARTMENT: Community & Education Team, Foundation
JOB FUNCTION: To support on the delivery and development of the ‘Inspire Her’ programme for targeted girls across Chelsea FC Foundation hyper local locations. To further develop and grow the activities, creating inclusive and safe environments for young women to play sport, be active, develop through educational workshops and activities.
DIRECT REPORTS: Sessional Staff
LOCATION: Stamford Bridge /Cobham
CONTRACT: 35 hours per week, permanent, Full Time
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES (Play Your Part):
Drive girls' participation in football, cultivating ambition and passion for the game through education workshops and delivery of physical activities.
To work in identified schools across London, Cobham and Kingston.
To support and deliver inclusive and high-quality activity across the Inspire Her provision.
To work in collaboration with the Education Team to develop and enhance the activities and programmes offered to schools including festivals and events.
To work closely with the ‘No to Hate’ Lead to ensure that all targets set are achieved through a robust monitoring and data collection process.
To work with team members to support the creation of a Youth Voice panel to include: participants from across our range of programmes and other relevant stakeholders.
To support the development of network opportunities in the area to create additional sporting opportunities to further enhance the delivery programme for young women.
To work with team members to be involved in all aspects of support for staff, including training and mentoring, scheduling and resources.
To carry out duties relevant to legislation and Foundation policies and procedures.
To undertake any Foundation activities that maybe required in addition to the role.

MEASURES OF PERFORMANCE (Here to Win):
To achieve the set core budget and E.D & I targets.
To sustain and grow the Inspire Her programme as per KPI’s set.
To collate and input M&E linked to identified targets and KPI’s.
To be a positive role model, creating a safe, positive and fun environment in which to motivate and encourage young women to succeed and develop.
To develop robust relationships with local schools, clubs and other stakeholders.
To be open to receiving support, mentoring and guidance from project officers in best practice and professionalism
PROUD TO BE CHELSEA (Person Specification):
Qualifications:
A minimum of the new FA Introduction to Football Coaching qualification. (FA Level 1 is the equivalent qualification).
In date FA Safeguarding Children course & the FA Introduction to First Aid in Football certificate.
Clean driving licence.
Enhanced DBS check.
Experience:
Worked within a community/school/sport setting/ with participants from under-represented groups including girls and young women.
Experience in working within a programme with specific aims, objectives and KPI’s to be met.
Experience in working as part of a team.
Skills and Behaviours:
Excellent communication and organisation skills.
Good ability motivate participants from a range of backgrounds.
Confident and outgoing personality.
Desire to continually improve and develop professionally.
Good attention to detail.
Reliable and trustworthy.
Have ability to problem solve and demonstrate resilience under-pressure.
